Established in 2023, the South Island’s Netball Sports Centre at Ngā Puna Wai has quickly become a landmark for sport, community and connection. Operated by Christchurch Netball, a not-for-profit organisation with a proud 100-year legacy, this 10,000 sqm multi-sport facility is the all-weather home for netball and a growing roster of partner sports including volleyball, korfball, pickleball, futsal, ultimate, gymnastics, handball, dodgeball and more.

The Centre exists thanks to an extraordinary $11m anonymous gift, motivated by a desire to rebuild opportunities for women and girls in Canterbury following the loss of sporting infrastructure post-earthquake. Today, that same spirit of generosity continues to shape our purpose.

To ensure this world-class venue remains accessible and thriving, we seek partners who believe in the power of sport to uplift our communities, partners who share our vision of lifting the mana of participants and volunteers through quality, meaningful sporting experiences.

With 10 premium wooden-sprung courts, adaptable event spaces and a team committed to exceptional service, the Netball Sports Centre is ready to support training, competitions, community gatherings and large-scale events.
